Weather at race time (9:30 AM): 40°, cloudy, drizzle. Course: One mile "keyhole" loop repeated three times, half on pavement and half on gravel, with a few unavoidable sections of ice on the gravel section. (The race was changed from a 5K due to excessive ice on the usual 3.1 mile loop at Blandy.) Race director: Duane Williamson. Volunteers included Karsten Brown, George Hughes, Greg Steinmeyer, Sarah Steinmeyer, Christopher Williamson, Emily Williamson, Rosanne Williamson. AGE GRADED RESULTS
The age graded times below were computed using age grading factors from World Masters Athletics. An "age graded time" is essentially an equivalent finish time for a runner aged 20 to 29, thereby allowing comparisons of runners of all ages. "Performance level percentage" (PLP) is an indication of the quality of a performance regardless of age or gender. World Masters Athletics defines a PLP of 100% as "near world record class", 90%+ as "world class", 80%+ as "national class", 70%+ as "regional class", and 60%+ as "local class". (An online age grading calculator can be found here.) The results below are sorted by PLP; ice on the course undoubtedly affected the quality of everyone's performances by a couple percentage points.
