- The Kiwanis Shelter, at the intersection of Bridgeforth Drive and War Memorial Drive, in Winchester, VA's Jim Barnett Park. Winchester is approximately 12 miles from Berryville, 25 miles from Front Royal & Martinsburg, and 75 miles from Washington, DC. Here is a map courtesy of MapBlast! - Course:
- The five kilometer (3.1 mile) course (USATF certification #VA96019RT) is a single loop circling around Jim Barnett Park and the grounds of Shenandoah University using roads and sidewalks. There are four moderately steep hills.
- Awards:
- Awards will be given to the top three men and women overall, to the top two male and female Masters runners (40 and over), and to the top three in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 & over.
- Kids Runs:
- Three children's runs will be held immediately following the 5K race! A 100 yard dash will be open to children ages 2 through 5; kids ages 6 to 9 will run a quarter mile; and the half mile will be open to children ages 10 to 14. All kids run participants will receive ribbons, and the top boy and girl in each race will win an award.
- Entry fees:
- 5K entry fee: $13.00 for members of the Shenandoah Valley Runners or $15.00 for non-members if postmarked by Friday 21 June; $16.00 for all on race day. Kids Run fees: $10.00 with a shirt or $5.00 without one. A printable entry form is now available! Please make checks payable to "Shenandoah Valley Runners" and mail with your completed entry form to Liberty 5K, c/o Rosie Schiavone, 1040 Breckinridge Lane, Winchester, VA 22601.

- Race-day registration:
- Registration and packet pick-up will be from 7:00 to 7:45 AM. T-shirts will be available on a first-come basis, so please show up early if you want to be sure you get a t-shirt!
